Bugatti Type 50, 1933, 8 cylinder supercharged, 4972 cc
Having purchased an original Type 50 engine from the auction which included Swedish Bugatti Agent Uno Ranch's spares and an original chassis from another source, the owner asked us to make complete new Drop-Head Coupe coachwork in the same style as Weinberger of Munich, but with a fully disappearing hood frame to give better rear visibility and cleaner lines with the roof folded.
Completed in 2006, Prize for Best Bugatti other than Grand Prix car, Bugatti Owners Club Concours, 16th July 2006 and 2008.
